What this site collects.
Yotin Energy runs this site. It is a marketing page with two interactive parts: a candidate-well qualifier and an AI assistant called ChatFi. This page explains, in plain terms, what leaves your browser and why.

The short version
We measure how the site is used so we can improve it. You do not need an account, and you never have to give us your contact details to use the qualifier or to see its answer — including when the answer is no. We do not sell anything about you to anyone.
What we collect
Site analytics
We use Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies in your browser and records which pages you view, roughly where you are (region, from a shortened IP address), and what kind of device and browser you use. Your IP address is truncated before it is stored. We keep this for 14 months.
Candidate-well qualifier
When you use the qualifier we record which answers you chose from the fixed lists of options, and what verdict came back. One question asks for an approximate intermediate casing length; we record that as a range — for example "1,500–1,999 m" — never the figure you typed. We do this because a specific length combined with a temperature and a lift type starts to describe an identifiable well, and that is your information, not ours.
The qualifier does not send us anything with your name or company on it. If you choose to send the summary, that opens your own email program with the text filled in. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in your mail client, and we only receive what you actually send.
ChatFi
Messages you type into ChatFi are sent to our server to generate a reply. Conversations may be reviewed to improve the service. Please do not paste confidential well data or personal information into it — for anything sensitive, email us directly instead.
Who else receives data
Loading this page makes requests to a few other companies, which means they can see your IP address and browser:
- Vercel — hosts the site.
- Google — Analytics, and the fonts the page uses.
- Google Cloud — runs the ChatFi service.
- jsDelivr and unpkg — deliver the icon set and the chat component.
- mpsgroup.energy — serves the 3D WellFi scene in the page header.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use this data for advertising.
How to opt out
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, which stops the analytics from identifying repeat visits. Google also publishes a browser add-on that turns off Analytics everywhere: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works normally either way — nothing here depends on analytics.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to kyle.gronning@yotinenergy.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
